The challenge was to reposition Quantum from a legacy storage brand to a visionary data technology company that helps businesses harness the living potential of their data.
The Strategy: To shift perception, the campaign redefined what data could be. Instead of treating it as something to be stored, Quantum would position it as something alive—dynamic, intelligent, and full of potential. The creative platform, “Welcome to the Wonderful World of Living Data,” invited audiences to imagine data not as static information, but as a force that learns, adapts, and drives transformation.
This strategic pivot transformed the conversation from where data lives to what data can do. It gave Quantum a bold, optimistic new voice in an industry often dominated by technical jargon and sameness.
The Solution: The new Quantum identity and campaign built a complete ecosystem around the concept of “Living Data.” The work included a redesigned visual identity system, tagline, advertising campaign, website, video and radio spots, tradeshow experiences, and a full OOH and digital rollout.
At the heart of the new visual system was a distinctive triangular motif derived from the concept of a prism. A single point of light—a metaphor for a client’s individual piece of data—enters the prism, representing Quantum’s platform. As it passes through, the light refracts into a vibrant spectrum, symbolizing data that has been enriched, transformed, and brought to life. This prism metaphor embodied Quantum’s promise: to turn raw data into something dynamic, multidimensional, and valuable.
Visually, the campaign came to life through richly layered, kinetic imagery that portrayed data as vibrant and dimensional. Color gradients, motion-inspired patterns, and refracted light effects symbolized the dynamism of Quantum’s technology. Across print, digital, and event environments, these visuals created a world that felt alive with possibility.
The creative direction merged the precision of science with the wonder of imagination. High-end photography, motion studies, and surreal compositions portrayed a universe where data wasn’t just numbers, but living energy. Each execution—from key art to digital banners—used bold gradients, refracted prisms, and organic forms to signal a brand reborn.
At industry tradeshows like NAB (National Association of Broadcasters), the concept was brought to life through an immersive booth experience featuring metadata “tags” that moved and interacted dynamically, helping audiences visualize how Quantum solutions turn stored content into actionable insights.
The Results:
The campaign successfully repositioned Quantum as a company not defined by its past in storage, but by its future in data intelligence. Internally, it unified global teams around a revitalized brand vision. Externally, it caught the attention of new enterprise audiences across sectors—helping Life Sciences researchers accelerate discovery, Media & Entertainment teams manage massive creative archives, and Government and Enterprise clients secure, analyze, and leverage data with greater precision.
